Jimmie Johnson won at Bristol for the first time after a great restart with 10 laps to go.
After starting 6th with only 10 laps to go Jimmie drove the pants off the #48 Lowes Chevy. At the time I thought it was a mistake taking 4 tires with so few laps left but that is why I am not a crew chief. You can see some more pictures from the press conference.
It was a quiet day for Carl Edwards and Brad Kesolowski who were racing each other for a good part of the race. They gave each other plenty of racing room and it wasn’t really an issue at all.
We had one big wreck that took out some quality drivers and a few cautions for rain, other then that it was just a day of long green runs.
