Last nights race at Bristol was a good race, a little boring when they had that long green run but all in all it was a good race with plenty of action. Kyle Busch won and although I can’t root for him congrats to him for a job well done on what should have been Mark Martins night. Here is a picture of Kyle Busch in the winners circle with the lovely Miss Sprint Cup who you should be following on twitter.
The race started very patriotic as usual with a jet flyover and the National Anthem was sung by kids which was amazing.
Before the race Jeff Gordon had a talk with his boss Rick Hendrick.
Our Points leader Tony Stewart had a bad night, first his radio didn’t work then the car wouldn’t start.
The race was dominated by Mark Martin who lead the most laps in what was his 1000th start. Congrats Mark.
Of course this post can’t be complete without showing you the wrecks in which all drivers were ok. Michael Waltrip had the hardest crash of the night.
Martin Truex had a mechanical failure that had sparks shooting from under the car.
My friend Lorri’s favorite driver Kevin Harvick (just kidding Lorri) had an accident that left his front end really damaged.
Kurt Busch was involved in a wreck not of his own doing. Thought he was going to be the car to beat tonight. I even picked him in my NASCAR fantasy league.
Well that’s enough pictures for now. Expect a full recap later in the week. I am working on a post featuring the Patriotic pictures also.
