Hendrick Power Fails at Michigan as Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart who all run Hendrick built engines failed. Tony Stewart was the first to go followed by Jeff Gordons engine. The biggest heartbreak though was Jimmie Johnsons Lowe’s Chevrolet as he was in the lead with about 5 laps to go when the engine blew up.

It was the second choice after Mark Martin getting out of his car unhurt after his crazy wreck.
