Last night in New York City NASCAR teamed up with Autism Speaks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The “Speeding for a Cure” event was held with many drivers in attendance. The event was hosted by ESPN’s Mike Tirico.
NASCAR drivers Brad Keselowski, 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, Michael Waltrip, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Kasey Kahne, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Martin Truex Jr., Darrell Wallace Jr., Kyle Larson, Nelson Piquet Jr, Brad Sweet and NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison were there supporting this great charity.

There was a lot of money raised for this great charity. While I don’t have the official amount Michael Waltrip sent out a tweet saying it was over 1 million dollars and that Kasey Kahne bought a piece of art for 11k!
